Nickerson Beach Park

Review is of the dog park here. It's near the beach, but with no view of the water. There is no grass here, mostly a combination of dirt and sand. There are a few structures for dogs to interact with, but it looks very old and ramshackle. It's one of the few dog parks in the area, so that's good, but a little bit of work could make this a much more enjoyable experience.

This is regarding the RV Park. You need to arrive by a certain time of night before they close the gate, and you can't come and go after you've checked in, you're stuck there for the night - however don't expect the girl on the phone in the office to tell you any of that when you pay and make your reservation ahead of time. The people that work there are INSUFFERABLE, incredibly rude and act like you are wasting their time. They don't care about your experience at the park, or if your hookups are working, or if you're having any problems... The woman who lives on site on site 66 I think is the rudest person I have ever encountered working at an RV park. STAY AWAY!

The beach is huge, a very deep long distance of sandy beach from the parking lot to the ocean. In addition the beach is extremely long and peaceful.

I have never seen it crowded and it's always peaceful.

I highly recommend it highly.

Love camping here with the family. Everyone is so friendly

It is a bit run down but there is a great area for dogs to play. There are tennis balls every where (if you can find one just look on the side of one of the fences surrounding the perimeter of the dog run) and even a few frisbees.
