Fantastic Pharmacy! Never have I ever been to a workplace with such great service. Every staff member has a great attitude and the the pharmacy is always clean and well organized. The pharmacy also has monthly raffles that is free to sign up for and you always have a chance to win something cool! They also make medication for pets, no just humans! I just have to say this pharmacy has better service than any big named ones.

DO NOT USE THEM!

There are better options.

They gave me my medicine one day and then sat on the paperwork for 10 days before processing it. This means that every pharmacy I went to, had it recorded that I was trying to get my script after 2 weeks instead of a full month. With sensitive medications, this is really serious because it meant I had to wait 6 weeks because Newport did not process my script properly. I went through a very painful withdrawal because of them.

They either lost the paperwork, or one of their employees just left it lying around for when she happened to find it. I had to call and have them search for it. They not only lied about the day they got it, but were extremely rude about it.

On another occasion, they have also lost my script and didn't bother to own up to the loss. I had to call three days later and prompt them to fill it. They have also charged the insurance company multiple times for the same script by doing this. (insurance fraud)

Unless you want a world of frustration and the possibility of having them lose your script and then LIE that they never got it, do not use them. They are also just not smart. You will have to explain things to them like they are idiots.

They lie to your insurance company so if you are on a monthly script, they will completely mess up your routine.

Such a mess. Just go elsewhere. Carry Pharmacy is fantastic- they also deliver and they will make sure that you have what you need each month so you do not feel stress over your health.

I have been going to this pharmacy for the past two years. The best thing that I love about this pharmacy is that by the time I get there my prescription is ready for pick up since my doctor sends my prescription electronically. I go in the door and a few minutes later i am out the door. Another thing I like is their free delivery service, its very convenient when I can't personally make it to the pharmacy since it is out of my way or I am too sick. Overall, the front staff is friendly (could be bit more) and their pharmacists are very knowledgeable, Aymara and Victor have helped me in some occasions with questions about any new medicine my doctor prescribed or over the counter stuff I needed when I couldn't see my doctor.

Newport Pharmacy is close to my workplace so I brought my prescription for tramadol there to be filled. I broke my neck 8 years ago and have taken tramadol for 5 years to manage the pain; it's not a narcotic or a controlled substance (relevant later). I moved to New York City this week and my doctor has appointments in Central Jersey (Highland Park) and in Queens. Because I had seen him in Highland Park but wanted to fill the prescription in Newport and had a New York address, the technician, Anette, began looking up information about me and said she could not fill it. The pharmacist, Victor Mosquer, came over when I asked what the problem was and said "nice try" as if I were doing something suspicious. They treated me like a criminal. I told them I would give them a bad review and the technician, Anette, threatened to put all my personal medical information on Google Reviews if I wrote a bad review. The technician would not give me her name and took off her name tag when I asked. The pharmacist finally gave me her name. There is a pending case open with the US Department of Health and Human Services for the treat to put medical information online. If they treat my patient data like that, they will do the same to you.

My workplace is close to this pharmacy and one day I started feeling back pain/muscle spasm which gradually increased to the point that taking a deep breath was like being stabbed with a knife. So I went there to get something for this pain (the whole concept of over-the-counter drugs, I don't have to go see a doctor for a back pain that would probably go away in a couple of days, I am young, healthy and in good shape). I asked the technician if they had any muscle relaxant/something for back pain available OTC and she didn't know. I asked to speak to the pharmacist but she was too busy talking on the phone and sent the tech back to me to say NO! I started checking the shelves myself and found at least 15 products that could actually help (pills, patches, creams, you name it) , they just didn't care!
