Newark Municipal Court

Horrible service. They never pick up the phone. Unable to pay online. Had to drive over 50 miles to pay fine at their location and on top of it the cashier had a nasty attitude.

What scum!! corrupt cops,corrupt courts, inefficient system, under qualified workers, complete waste of time. Better off pleading guilty because the time and money you will waste here isn't worth it. Pleading guilty to a ticket I never actually received just to get it over with

Got a ticket because someone punched me. Guess what? The police are not judges... they are public servants... they did their job and the court does their job. It sucks, yes... but it is the price we pay to be Americans. Suck it up and respect the system.

ANSWER YOUR PHONES!!! YOU SCUMBAGS!!!!!! or hire more people.. this is pathetic for a court.. I cant believe the amount of complaints for the same reason and still no resolution.. your a disgrace....

I got a ticket with my new car (but I didn't get a ticket) what happen is there was a ticket for a white suv ford, with the same license plate as me. I went to court(10/2) with all my info showing I don't own a Ford, so then they sent me back to court for a trial date. (10/28) On trial day, I showed them the same paper work, I showed them before, they dismissed the ticket. I thought I was done with that. Oh no, they sent me back to court (11/24)and I showed them the same info as before, and the court dismissed it again, hopefully I don't have to go back. But FYI the cop wrote the numbers on the ticket wrong, I think the cops have to go back to school for handwriting lessons. The cops 5's looked like 3, and the Z looked like a 2. So for that cop that wrote that ticket, because of you I had to miss work 3 times for your stupid mistakes.
