YOU JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. I have been a long time customer of this place for several years. The owner Paul would recognize me when I would walk into the store. I ordered delivery frequently. However, today Paul would not replace a $10 bottle of wine that had a hole in the top and was bad. I guess he doesn't understand how business works, how customer service works, and doesn't care about his relationships with his customers. SAD.

I am actually surprised that I'm writing this review because I've been a loyal and happy customer of NY Wine Exchange for about two years. However, today I will no longer purchase my wine there. The owner and staff have limited knowledge about the wine they sell, and hold zero accountability for the selections they recommend. If you ask for a dry Alsace, they will sell you a sweet Alsace. Later, the owner will ask if you were planning on eating spicey food, and maybe that's why he suggested it!!
It's too bad that he could not see past the $30 because he's lost a lot more than that...
