Not that hanging out in the DMV is ever pleasant but if you have to go to one this is the place to go. The employees were all nice and explained things well. I also thought the process was extremely efficient although I did make a reservation so that might have helped the expediency.

Dont waste your time making a road test here. The instructers are clearly bitter and lazy. The forst wrong thing you theyll snap at you. Choose another location like red hook.

1. Long lines, even if you get here early.
2. No parking. You need to walk, and to run back and refill the parking time.
3. Try to waive the ticket. You will be surprised to learn that it is possible.
4. Sell the car and use the subway, it is NYC! lol
