New York Methodist Hospital

The wait time in the ER is ridiculously insane. You will have to take a day off from work or something before you can be seen by the slow poke ER doctors. It's really a fucked up experience and needless to say that it ain't worth recommending even to my worst enemies. If there's anything else than one star, I certainly will award it. The doctors are freaking racially inclined to delay you for no apparent reason. And if you're, that's even more fucked up. An average wait that a patient spends with any of the slow poke doctors is 4 hours minimum. The nurses, forget it. They think they are all that, but they ain't because some of them walk as if they got dudu or need some wet wipes or something. And for those that must have awarded any star above one must be living in Disney world Resort.

My father went to the methodist hospital like 3 times ( he stayed 15 days in total) in the cardioloy section. the cleaning service is horrible. one time he stayed for 10 days, no body came to clean the toilet or the room during that time ! I saw small cockroach in the toilet !! it is the dirtiest hospital we've been to. That's not all, they have the rudest nurse staff we've ever seen. my father was on blood thinner, his IV was full of blood and he was in pain, I asked the nurse to change it, she totaly ignored me, I kept insisting so after one hour she came and change it. There were two male nurses who were so nice to us and a russian nurse who also was so nice but the rest did not even care. Their ER service is the worse, they put my father on a machine to moniter his heart beat, the machine beeped for about an our and no body came to check ! his heart beats reached up to 170 !
I am really shocked, sometimes I can not believe that we live in a first world country !!!!!!

I use to love this ER! Can someone please respond and let me know if they have changed management? I went a month to take my daughter due to her ear hurting her, they misdiagnosis my daughter the head doctor provided her a antibiotic which was not necessary and called it a night! As I'm waiting for my discharged papers that took forever to be handed out, I waited Outside the triage room I saw nurses or medical assistance twerking and dancing!!! How professional can you be? There are sick children in the er with parents who haven't had sleep or rest, that's not the place to act like you're in a club. I felt as my child was just another claim to be submitted to the insurance, I wish the doctor there tried their best to find out what was wrong With daughter just as hard as the billers try their best to get paid for service!! I work for the NY state of health and I was certainly not satisfied I was highly disappointed!

I've been going to NEW YORK METHODIST HOSPITALsince I was 9 years old..the staff has always been courteous the doctors have good bedside manner the hospital itself is friendly there's no long waiting lines..I feel I'm in safe hands in the Next York Methodist Hospital..and they're technology is up to date and they're always improving and adding to better serve the community .

i recently had my son there, over all it wasn't so bad. they made me wait 31 hours, and 50 min before i opt-in for a c-section. i'm fully healed and it's only been 16 days since i had it. the wait time for simple responses, were very long. but i don't expect them to cater to one patient. its a large hospital, and people are being moved around all the time... overall i approve.
