New York City Police Department - 76th Precinct

Very rude. Been waiting more than a hour and keep putting me to wait. They only talk and dont really doing works. Do go there!

Very rude and unprofessional. I got a red light ticket in front of PS146 on Henry street because I stopped under the light to give pass to 60 kids with 5 or 6 teachers and by the time that they were on the other side of the street, the light turned red and this incompetent cop watching me all the time and who knew that I crossed on green but stopped under the light gave me two summons.
SO SAD, SO FRUSTRATING AND UNFAIR.

Please stop the crime and don't steal money from hardworking people this way. I can't believe what this idiots did to me, so unfair! funny fact, I work at the school and the teachers and custodial staff that saw this abomination couldn't stop shaking their heads because they knew that it wasn't right.

Had my car broken into and window was smashed 3 blocks from precinct in front of my apartment. I drove the car up the block to the precinct so they can see the damage. I was stopped on Union Street by an officer accompanied by the sergeant in a marked car. They issued me a summons for not having my seatbelt on. I tried to explain that I was on my way up the block to the precinct and I was worried about all the glass from locking myself in with the seatbelt, but they weren't having it. These are the kind of people that work in this precinct. Eyes closed to the real crime, but have no problem harassing the people in the neighborhood when given the opportunity to abuse their power. That was the third time my car was broken into. Not to mention the time I watched someone steal the rear end of a car while I sat on my step and called the precinct as the crime was in progress. They decided to show up 20 mins later. I could go on, but its pointless.

stopped in to ask a question about parking and the police officers here were friendly and helpful.

Rude and listless phone "help". I don't know if it is because the people working there are disgruntled by their difficult tasks and long hours and low pay, or if they are simply lazy and unconcerned. Hard to say.
