New York City Police Department - 61st Precinct

Reported a stolen bike from my house 4 months ago and heard nothing back since then. walked a block away from my house and found the bike locked up in front of an apartment building with two guys sitting nearby talking to each other. after calling 911 for the police to report the bike, the two guys unlocked it and left to try and not get themselves into trouble for buying a stolen bike. after waiting an hour no one had shown up and was told to call the 61st after calling 911 again. when i called they told me to come to the building. but when i had arrived they thought i was speaking of a motorcycle. after all that, they just tell me to go and that theres nothing to worry about. they had literally done nothing to help find the robber who broke in. after such an instance im surprised they get anything done. do nothing but ticket people and let thieves get away. good job guys.

This morning I fell getting out of bed and could not get up. A call to the 61st Precinct had two officers, DeSimone and Pasquariello, over to my house in no time at all. The two could not have been nicer or more professional in getting this 72-year-old woman back on her feet. Bravo, NYPD!

i got stoped by them and they flat out robbed me for my cell phone and my perscription medications that i had gotten that day and hadnt gone home yet they said i wasnt allowed to carry them and my phone was evidence and i get a run around no matter where i call to get my things back
