If you don't like what the police do and you want to always scrutinize them, don't call them when you need help! Worry more about killing one another then police brutality. Look up those statistics.

This precinct refuses to enforce quality of life issues. I don't know if all they care about is filling jails with drug dealers or every kid walking around with a bag of pot or not. But I have made calls over the years for things like dog attacks from people who will not keep their dog on a leash. And noise complaints about people with microphones and amplifiers screaming in Virgina Park in Parkchester for hours that can be heard blocks away. They always say, "what do you want me to do arrest them?" No, get out your ticket book and write them a ticket. Do your job. If you make the Bronx a nicer place to live, the drug dealers will go away. Believe me.

These officers do the best they can .... Even without the support of the community.... Or mayor .... They go out and comb these streets to keep our neighborhood safe and quiet.... I'm greatful to have a precinct filled with such wonderful examples of humanitarians !!!!!! God bless the 43!!!!!!

my 2 year old daughter was recently abducted by her mother. The night she was taken 3 officers showed up after 3 hours of waiting and two calls to 911. They were here for only 5 minutes and gave me a half ass written report. The next day I called 911 again and the two officers that arrived actually spent 2 hours taking my report and making calls to see what else they could do to help me. I appreciate them. The other three are a disgrace. I am a Marine Corp Veteran and I expect my complaints to be serviced better than they did the first night.
