My mother was arrested at Beach 116 Rockaway Park because the officer said the music from her phone was too loud. Her arresting officer Ms. Bodon gave my mother a warning and she complied by turning off her phone. Ms Bodon assumed that my mother had rolled her eyes at her. So my mother was told to get off the train and then was placed in handcuffs. At the time I was fishing but was approached by my wife who was in tears because of my mother being arrested. So I ran to the precinct to see what had happened. I had ask the officer what was my mothers charge and he did not tell me. My mother is African American and deep down in my heart I feel she was a victim of Racial Discrimination. If anyone reads this article that can assist me with my problem reply back please.
