China Inn has been a fixture in Rutherford for over 30 years. They have on a wall a glowing half page review of them that appeared in the New York Times in the 1980's. Any review that pans them with short, terse idiocies should be ignored. China Inn has stood the test of time. It's a nice restaurant to put on your short list of places to eat a nice meal. And, you can bring your own beer or wine. The food is sanitary and well prepared. I especially recommend the combo platters on the back page-- for a great price you get soup, egg roll, a main course (I like roast pork with Chinese vegetables), and rice (I like the pork fried rice).

Retro ..great food and love the fried noodles with duck and mustard sauce ..also the classic hot tea

This food was so nasty. The chicken wings were not like regular fried chicken, they looked baked and were dam near still raw inside. The general tso chicken was spicy as hell even tho I ordered mild for my kids. The pork fried rice was also disgusting, it was dark brown and the pork pieces were in big chunks. Save your money with this place even the wonton soup had no taste. How could wonton soup be nasty? My BF liked the spare ribs but he's fat and eats anything!

best chinese in the area ---dont know what the twit before me is talking about----he prob loves garbage from paterson----delivery is fast and quality is excellent
