Never before have I experienced such incompetence in ANY kind of business. Do NOT have any work done at New & Used Auto Discount Glass Shop at 1163 Myrtle Ave in Brooklyn. Even if it costs a bit more elsewhere, it will be worth it, because, at least based on my experience, Discount Glass will not fix the problem properly, you’ll have to return a bunch of times over months (I had to go back 4 times), and they’ll end up breaking other things on your car. Also—they do NOT give refunds. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! (I had a good experience at Joe’s Auto Glass). Generally I’m a pretty forgiving guy, but the gross incompetence of people at this Discount Glass shop have forced me to write this harsh review.

Discount Glass never managed to actually fix my broken car window. Each time I went, after assuring me that they had the window that would fit my VW, the window didn’t fit properly and I ended up with a gap between the window and door frame that resulted in an annoying wind whistling sound. In the process of their many attempts to fix the window, they also managed to break the up-down switch for the window, and disabled the locks on my car doors. After all of this, Discount Glass refused to give me any refund.

I eventually learned my lesson and got it fixed at Joe’s Auto Glass.

In addition to this review, I’ve also filed a complaint with the Department of Consumer Affairs.

This is the best place to fix your car glass or car doors. Good . Ppl work here.....

The worker that puts the glass on the vehicles is highly certified and always does an excellent job. Ask for Danny he is the best.
