Oddly enough every time I walk by this place there isn't anything happening. Not that sure what really happens here but the stage is pretty cool... Makes for a great backdrop to any photo ;)

Summer in the city couldn't be more complete than a WNYC sponsored concern. The Naumberg Bandshell has wonderful accoustics when a live show is happening. I caught the orchestra here yesterday, but on NYE there was a DJ with light show. It was amazing to celebrate the NYE here.
As a runner, I can tell you it often has concerts and family oriented events as it is in located in the center of Central Park. It is a great place to take a date for an afternoon or late night walk as it is along Poet's Row in the park which has a tree lined covered walkway. Find your inner peace. Check out the Naumberg Bandhsell which has been delighting New Yorkers for over 100 years.
