My rating is based solely on the attitude of the employees of this salon, rather than the quality of the nail services there. Truth be told, the manicures I have received there (both regular and gel) have been of high quality. However, I am tempted to take my business elsewhere after several less than stellar experiences with an impolite employee.
My first few visits to this salon were fairly enjoyable. The nail technician who worked on me was very kind and professional, and did a spectacular job. However, my last two visits with one of the other nail technicians was not so pleasant. During my first visit with this nail technician, she was incredibly gruff and rushed through my manicure. When she wanted me to switch hands, she essentially shoved one away and harshly grabbed the other. The cuticle cutting was also mildly painful. During the second visit with her, she was also somewhat gruff and then rudely asked me why I was not in school on that day. Note: I am a mid 20-something year old female, college graduate, working full-time. When I explained, she laughed at me and continued to comment on my appearance in a very impolite manner. Do I have a youthful face? Perhaps. But do I deserve to be treated any less like the woman I am simply because of appearance? Absolutely not. Customers paying for these services (not cheap, by the way) do not deserve to be disrespected.
This establishment needs to learn that a successful business not only provides quality services, but also treats customers with respect. The latter is sorely lacking.
