Dr. Mylonakis is absolutely outstanding, both in terms of the actual services she provides and the manner in which she provides them. I made an appointment with her because I had never been to a dentist before and I realized that I might need to start going to annual check-ups.
Dr. Mylonakis was not simply professional and knowledgeable. She was also extremely patient and understanding and walked me through every step of the exam, explaining what she did and why she did it.
She identified any relevant conditions (i.e. cavities) and explained my options. She did not try to up-sell additional procedures (I have all of my wisdom teeth still in, and apparently most dentists have an irresistible desire to pull them out whether they are healthy or not - Dr. Mylonakis did not suggest I get rid of healthy teeth, but explained in what situations I might want to consider taking some action with them).
The cleaning itself, was not only painless, but I would dare say, kind of enjoyable (and Dr. Mylonakis was once again very thorough and patient, explaining the process and what she was doing). She will have to do some additional work on my teeth, but I have to admit, I am sort of looking forward to it.
