I saw The Drums here last night - I was super impressed with the intimate experience this venue offers.
I would prefer the Music Hall of Williamsburg over any venue in Manhattan any day. Downstairs is the lounge/bar to hang out before the show, a roomy space with attentive bartenders. Drinks are average priced, only a few beers on tap.
Upstairs is the venue. Anywhere you stand offers a fantastic view of the stage. Not too big - so the performance is intimate and personal.
Would recommend coming here for any show!!

Great gigs. OK venue. Architecturally great (intimate spaces, multiple levels) but service is subpar, drinks are bad and expensive, floors are always sticky...

I love this venue! I went here couple times now for concerts and it was always a fun time! I love how intimate the venue is and you can see the artist pretty well. There are two bars just in case you need a little buzz for the concert and it's definitely not too expensive. Also, downstairs is more of hang out area so you can chilll and talk with your friends before the concert. Overall, I love coming here since it's really not crazy expensive for a good time and checking out new music!

It's easy to forget just how intimate a venue MHOW is. You can really interact with the artist on stage and appreciate every detail. Add to that a great location, well-stocked bar, lounge, and fluid design and you have the premier concert venue in north Brooklyn.

One of my favorite venues in the city. The line is always organized, the box office opens up a little while before doors with a separate line, the downstairs bar is a great hangout space and the drinks aren't as pricey as other venues. The sound is amazing, always. And if you're not cool with the moshpit but don't want to go to the balcony, there are elevated spaces on either side where you can stand and get a great view.
