I have been going to Murray's for over 20 years. The best of the best sable and eastern nova. All the other smoked fishes are amazing as well. I just love sable and nova. Great service and slicing of smoked fish is an art that Muraasy's has mastered to perfection!I highly recommend Murray's Sturgeon Shop.

Been shopping here since 1977.The nearest thing to being in Israel and getting everything you need for Israeli breakfast. Everything fresh aurthentic and expert slicing.

We have been getting nova, whitefish, sable, and pickled herring from these guys for years and it's always been amazeballs! They are even happy to ship it to Denver as well. It doesn't get any better than this.

Murray's and Barney Greengrass are neck and neck on the UWS with M having better herring and BG having breakfast eggs & onions and better sturgeon. However, overall it's Russ & Daughters for best in class........but it's downtown

The old guy behind the counter was totally rude to me. Like I was really putting him out by asking for a couple of sandwiches. The shop was completely empty, too, so it wasn't like he was busy. I'm not going back: I wouldn't want to inconvenience him any further!
