This place is just okay, which is especially apparent because everything else in the neighborhood is so special. But sometimes you want just casual and ok places. This spot fits the bill.

Favorite spot always a delight. If I lived near I'd get the kimchi everyday.

- Terrible #31978
The food was fine but easily the worst service I've had in NYC in 15 years. I don't even review restaurants ever but I felt a particular need to warn people about this place. I went there after ten for a quick Korean taco and a drink. The food and drink were super slow coming out even though only two other tables had people. The meal went until 1130 due to the speed of service. I wasn't going to tip at all after that but left 15% anyway (it's hard in costumer service and I almost always tip regardless) The server had the gall to come over and ask me what my problem was . . . in my life I've rarely seen so much entitlement and had to assume they were drunk and/or didn't do the math on the tip- otherwise I do not understand. I have no need in a city with fantastic food to ever spend a dime at this place again. Next time I'll go next door to the Mexican place and get real tacos and a smile in under an hour I guess.

- Very Good #31979
My girlfriend and I enjoyed our meals in hot stones bowls. The tomato juice was small and there were no visible Koreans. Not that I'm racist, but a Korean place could use some Koreans to make you feel like home. Very good, but not Hangawi. Did not have a large selection of Korean food, but the food we had was very delicious.
