We went there an evening for Summer 2016 Restaurant Week ($42 - 3 Courses offer). The service was excellent, the ambiance great (even though it was a little loud) and the food good. Some plates, such as the Glazed Prawns and the Nine Seasons Prawns, were delicious. Some other, like MR CHOW Noodles, were good but nothing special. My opinion is that you pay mostly for the ambiance and the service. The food is good but overpriced, not justifying a quality that outshines some other good Chinese restaurants in NYC. Still a good deal for Restaurant Week though!

OUTSTANDING food! The crispy shrimp appetizer was delicious as was the lamb for our meal. The service is on point. We never felt like we need to track someone down. If you get a chance, get in there for NYC restaurant week. It's a great deal.

I work right next to The City Winery so I can't believe my first visit was in the past month. (My second was too so that's a good sign!) Both times I have stopped in for lunch on a weekday and there was plenty of open seats. You can make reservations online but the few times I've been I didn't need them.
I have tried the burger and a BBQ sandwich. The burger is divine - so perfectly seasoned. The wine was also delish. I had the Riesling and loved it (my fav). I wasn't as wild for the BBQ but the burger impressed me big time. It was so juicy but somehow it didn't make the bun soggy. Impressive folks.
A great lunch option in South Village/Hudson Square area!!

From the moment you walk into Mr. Chow's in Tribeca, you are fully aware that the dining experience is going to be special. Between the hypnotic and fragrant smell of the fresh orchids by the bar to the incredibly welcoming staff, including the gorgeous hostess with the best shoes and hair and the maitre de who is the epitome of a gentleman, it is an dining experience unlike any other. The food is the most delicious and authentic Chinese food -- being an Asian American, I can say this with the utmost confidence -- I have ever tasted. Each dish is punctuated with an intensity of flavor and is consistently delicious, regardless of how busy it is. Though I have been to both locations, Tribeca has my heart because of its staff and because of its stunning ambience.

Really good, but overpriced and boring on holidays. Also thee Tribeca location isn't that easy to reach by Subway and the OOVOO JAVERZ are not the best. Restaurant is real good tho.
