Jin Market

Not many places in Tribeca where you can score a sub $10 lunch. Food isn't 5 star but it's good enough. Going price is about 8 bucks a pound from the buffet.

"Jin Market is a nice spot with decent food and very fresh produce. It's a shame that the staff in general is probably the rudest I've encountered in this city. Especially the tall sandwich guy, who doesn't even speak to take your order, but instead just looks at you until you decide to tell it to him. Well, unless you're a female.
Previously I've simply overlooked this serious flaw because Jin Market is so close convenient for me. That was until the jackass finally spoke to me to argue about what I had just ordered saying I had ordered something different even though it was my usual order, which forced me to walk away and skip breakfast.
So I have decided to start my mornings elsewhere on a more positive note rather than deal with the attitude of this particularly disgruntled worker. If I ever hear word that this guy has been fired, I might consider going back..."
