While this place definitely has some amazing cocktails, avoid the menu. You will massively overpay for food that is not particularly good nor abundant. This is the kind of place where you leave and immediately need to get a slice of pizza. Go for a drink before or after eating somewhere else.

Simply amazing. The concept and over all vibe of the place all ties in together within its self. Not trying to sound all fortune telly, but this is my new favorite restaurant in the city

The avocado French toast, fried coconut tofu and the fried pancake balls were all amazing! I cannot wait to come back to try more of the menu! Also, make sure you get the Bloody Mary at brunch! It is amazing!

Stumbled upon this while roaming the east village. Mother of Pearl Restaurant has a really cool vibe and decor. It makes you feel like you are in a bar by the beach. Its a really nice tiki bar with cute decorations. Nice spot for a date, casual drinks or gossip with your most gossipiest friends. This is one worth checking it out. They close at 2am wish they would close later. Definitely check out if you are in this area. This is more trendy and upscaly if you want to avoid the usual dive bars in the area. I want to try the food when I come back.
