The service at Morton's is terrific. I liked their hors d'oeuvres, but their steaks weren't that great. And the prices are high. Are steakhouses still popular? I really try to avoid popular trends. I don't care much for chain restaurants either.

Bad service. We came at 6:45 and at 8:28 our food just starting arriving. Sunday night. We came to celebrate our friends birthday but we're very disappointed with the staff and the wait. Won't be returning. Food was good. Just portioned small (for an average person).

We didn't even make it to the food tonight - normally, it's fantastic and the bar service (where we usually sit) is generally great. We have had a few issues with the hostesses before, but tonight was really it for us from the bartender - we drove almost 1 hour to eat dinner here tonight, and because of the holiday traffic were running late. As such, we were trying to figure out what we wanted to order in the car, so the kitchen wouldn't have to stay open. We finally arrived 20 minutes before they were closing - and we both knew it might be a better idea to go somewhere else at that point. Nevertheless, my girlfriend ran up to ask if it was okay, considering both of us already knew what we wanted. And what happened? She was given THE worst look by the bartender (like showing up during hours when he restaurant is supposed to be open is a bad thing) and completely turned away, with no more of an explanation than "we're closing soon" and he walked away, refusing to seat us. If he didn't want to seat us, then that's fine - we understand, but a refusal and in that fashion? There is NO place to be rude to a customer while you're still open...and we're Landry's select customers who frequent the restaurant often, considering how far away we live. Again, the food is normally great - but just remember that your entire night can be spoiled by bad service, no matter how great the food is. And that's what happened with us - we won't be returning.

Went here Saturday night with my wife to celebrate our anniversary. We haven't been here in years. The ambiance was nice. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable about Gluten-free options for my wife. We had the cold seafood platter for two for our appetizer.
For our entrée we had the 14 Oz bone in filet mignon and the prime rib with horseradish mashed potatoes, asparagus and a side of truffle butter. Absolutely amazing!
We finished off with Creme Brule.
Great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Very nice GF menu with lots of options.

First visit to Morton's....OUTSTANDING....the service was very professional and very courteous. The steak was mouth watering. Everything was served very quickly and our waitress (Nejelin ) is the best. I was so stuffed I had to bring home the rest (nice portions). The General manager also visited with us...very nice man. Worth the cost of the meal and more. 5 stars over all....$$$.
