Amazing staff/office and above all... Dentist. Dr. Shah actually CARES about you as a human being. You aren't just an insurance check to him and his office staff. Professional, understanding and listens to you and understands you don't always have a million dollars at your disposal to spend on dental care.

The most modern and up to date and IMMACULATELY CLEAN office!

I have a terrific fear of dentists from childhood. Not with Dr. Shah.

I recommend him to everyone that is looking for a Dentist with a heart and soul who does fabulous work.

I went to Dr. Nilay Shah originally for a Groupon special for teeth whitening. I then began using him for other dental care. He is a very conscientious dentist who spends time addressing the wants and needs of his patients. He is young,well informed and gentle. I have been to many dentists over the years and would HIGHLY recommend him. The people who work with him are lovely as well.

Quick intro: I DO NOT like going to the dentist. I shake. I get sweaty palms. I have been known to cry, and I'm a grown woman. I am not proud of this.

I've had two visits now to Mint Dental - once for a long overdue check up, and again to take care of all of the things that go wrong when you are long overdue on your check ups. Dr. Shah was wonderful - very friendly, very calm, and VERY thorough with both the exam and his explanations. He explained what he was seeing (showing me the xrays as well), what he wanted to do, what we can discuss further down the line, and what I needed to do to have happy healthy teeth. He printed out a quote for the work I was going to have done, and walked through what my insurance covered, why they didn't cover some things, and what the cost would be so I wouldn't get a shock when I came back.

The procedures I had done (not SUPER complicated) were completed quickly. I still had the hand sweats, but I at least didn't get cramps in my feet from tensing my whole body up. Dr. Shah followed up a few days later to make sure everything was ok - that was a first for me, and really appreciated. (Side note: doing just fine!)

I also have to mention the exam room set up. Bright rooms, lots of space (which certainly helps relax), a monitor on the wall so we can look at xrays or photos together, and - the kicker - a TV on the ceiling. Genius! Watching a little Cake Boss does take the edge off and is a VERY welcome distraction from a mouth full of whirring, hissing dental tools.

I'm so glad I've made the switch to this practice. Dr. Shah and staff are great, and I like that I can come in late after work, or on a Saturday. Thumbs up!

I've been a Dental Assistant for 14 years and have seen the good the bad and the ugly.
Dr Shah is one of the best Dentists I've seen. He takes a very conservative approach and is very gentle. I highly recommend him.
