Mimi's Nails Spa

They do a GREAT job and i been coming here for about a year BUT i have a HUGE ISSUE. I always get a gel mani and a regular pedi which sums up to roughly $46. I always tip $6-$8 and these women ALWAYSSSS look upset after i tip them, giving me the cold shoulder and not returning my good bye as i walk out. I am always sooo happy with my service and always express what a wonderful job they did and say thank you a million times, but the fact that they look disappointed with my tip always makes me so sad. Sometimes i only have that money till my pay day which is Saturday. i hesitate to do my nails now because it makes me so sad that they are unhappy with my tip. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE. They should be more grateful. I remember once i almost cried because she rolled her eyes at me and it was the last $60 i had till the next morning.

This was my first time to Mimi's Nails Spa and I will definitely be back! I often don't go to get my nails done because I feel pressured by the employees to upgrade or rushed or they do a rough job to get everyone in and out fast.

Here, I was so thankful that they let me take my time while I looked through the nail colors, offered to set aside my backpack since it looked heavy (it is), were very kind a polite throughout the process, and offered what seemed like extras for free! When I was getting the pedicure they did a nice scrub, put a wax on my heels, and massaged my legs with lotion; what I liked best is there wasn't any pressured sale at any point! They let me alternate colors and add glitter for no extra charge and ended with a relaxing neck massage while my nails were drying.

Thank you to Jenny who did my nails and to Mimi for being so welcoming and even wrapping my toenails at the end so they wouldn't get messed up in my shoes on my walk home! Highly recommend this place and it is a great value! ($27 for mani/pedi).

I went to the same nail salon for 6 years in nj and never felt as welcomed as i did here at mimi's coming in for the 1st time...she is so cute how she walks around numerous times to see if you are ok.

I was very impressed with Mimi's Salon. I work for a dermatologist and we always encourage everyone to protect themselves from skin cancer. During my nail session, they provided me with mittens and they used LED light instead of UV light. They really know their stuff!

Plus, Amila was the most efficient and precise technician I every had. She did my french nail gel in under 30 minutes. My husband did not have to wait too long for me. :)

I'm definitely coming back and referring everyone!
