Very laid back spot. I had a book on a hot summer day and did not feel weird stopping in and reading for an hour. Friendly staff and affordable craft beer.

This is the newer location of Milk and Hops. The old place is still there at Astor Place. The new place is quite a bit bigger. Same great selection of beers, better selection of food in the menu. The grilled cheese sandwiches are excellent and a great accompaniment to the beers.

If you love craft beer and flavorful cheeses this place is for you. Amazing beer selection at reasonable prices ~$8 a pint. Their cheese platter is awesome too. The Chelsea location has a much larger space for seating than the original.

Great modern beer bar! Good rotating taps of craft beers – flights of four ($10), free nibbles – surprisingly good meat and cheese platters and sandwiches, FABULOUS single bottle selection (+ cheese & spreads), all in a light, airy space.
Great addition to neighborhood.
