I am a physician and I have seen hundreds of colleagues take histories, deliver difficult news, and teach patients and their families about their conditions. I was so impressed with the overall dental care that I received from Dr. Mishaan. He took his time to explain the results of my healthy normal x-rays and he utilized his ultra modern computerized equipment to take me on a tour of the findings. At each step of the cleaning he was delicate, explained what he was doing, and encouraged me to tell him if anything was uncomfortable. The amazing thing was - nothing hurt. He has brand new chairs with a computer monitor to play a TV show, listen to music, or read the news while he efficiently and delicately does his work. He continually explained what he was doing and repeatedly asked if I had any questions. He is very friendly, polite, and relaxed. I highly recommend him. He is the first dentist that I wanted to listen to his advice and now I even started flossing.

For two years, I have been going to various dentists about pain in my first molar. They brushed me off saying there is nothing wrong even though I told them it was hurting. I went to Dr. Mishaan with the same complaint. Although he could not see the problem either, he sent me to a specialist who had better equipment to see that there was a problem. Not being a dentist, I was unaware that specialists had different diagnostic tools and my issue was a painful tooth. I did not need braces or dentures, so I assumed generalists would be able to diagnose my problem. Maybe my tooth would have been saved when I first complained about it over two years ago; maybe not. The point is, even though he also could not see the problem himself he had, Dr. Mishaan did not blow me off like everyone else did. He sent me to a specialist. That is elementary medical success - listen to your patients! Thank you, Dr. Mishaan!

I was a little skeptical about having my teeth whitened but once I met Dr. Mishaan I knew I was in the right hands. His office is state of the art and beautiful! Now my teeth look great and I am getting complements wherever I go! His office is conveniently located in midtown near the Port Authority and Penn Station. I highly recommend him to anybody in the city in need of a dentist.
