I am an experienced, self-taught artist. When I saw the Google Offer to take an evening's watercolor technique class with Michiyo, I jumped at it and am glad I did. I had a great time and learned a bunch while I was at it.
Michiyo is an astute teacher, encouraging and correcting at the right times, sensitive to differences between students and a great role model of a working artist.
I highly recommend her classes for anyone – newby or old-timer.

Michiyo was a wonderful instructor, guiding a beginner like myself through every step of the process. She helped each of us in class with color mixtures, design, and basic techniques of watercolor. A wonderful class that I will take again!

Michiyo is an amazing artist and teacher. One can see that she dedicates her life to practicing her art of watercolor and sharing her knowledge with others... I am very fortunate to have this opportunity to learn from her. I would highly recommend Michiyo to anyone that is interested in perfecting the art of watercolor painting. And just wait until you see her work in person, absolutely beautiful!

Michiyo is very talented and a great teacher. I always struggled with water colors but with Michiyo teaching me, I achieved some really good results. I recommend her to anyone who wants to master water colors.....

Michiyo is an awesome teacher. I had never painted in watercolor before, and now feel very comfortable painting in this medium. I would recommend her to anyone who wants achieve great results in watercolor painting.
