Delicious pork chop n house special fried rice

When it comes to food, I am not one to write a review. When I ordered from this restaurant, I expected an okay meal that wasn't the best, as one would expect from a local Chinese food place. Service was okay although I expected more being that this establishment served two types of food. (Hispanic food and Chinese food.) But nevertheless, I was able to place my order. Food arrived fairly quickly. Of course being that this was a new place for my family to order, there were a couple of mess-ups in our order. For instance, I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo with pork fried rice. Most Chinese food places that I tried put the sauce on the side. However, they put the sauce in the actual container which as a result ended up leaking in the bag. (Not very smart). And just incase you are allergic to shrimp, be sure to specify no shrimp in the pork fried rice. They did put an amount of shrimp in my pork fried rice. As a result of me not being a fan of seafood I ended up having some white rice that they sent on the side. As for the actual chicken. It was horrible. The meat was stringy and tough and in a way unpleasantly squishy. As far as I am concerned, real chicken does not taste like that and I don't have the stomach to consider the alternative. The sauce was in no way sweet or sour and kinda stuck in the back of my throat when I swallowed. My sister also ordered Broccoli chicken and was also unsatisfied with her meal. And to cover the hispanic side, my mother being from central america, was not happy with her meal at all. The meat was tasteless and the Maduros (Dried Plantains, a traditional side dish) were very soggy. Nobody finished their food.
Overall, the food was very bad and was a waste of money. I would not recommend buying from this place. If you are looking for a good Chinese meal, then I suggest ordering from "New Peking Kitchen" (also, they do free delivery) After ordering from them for years, I was never disappointed.
