Excellent service, good selection. Wish they could make more complicated cuts

Seems like this place is dying. The apparent owner was very friendly, but then he handed me off to one of his employees, who was unfriendly and unhelpful. Everything I asked for (which led to purchases) seemed to annoy him. They do not offer competitive prices, either. I understand they are small, but buying lumber at Home Depot was actually 50% cheaper than here. Despite living nearby, it is worthwhile for me to rent a car and go elsewhere.

Better prices for common pine than Depot, and better cuts too. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS. This place is fast and friendly. Between them and Crest, all your building needs are covered.

My main grievance with these guys is that i felt a bit 'duped'. I went in with all kinds of orders for different size lumber, they knew exactly what i needed. When it came to collect the cuts i'd found i'd inherited a massive piece of plywood as 'left over' from the order. The wouldn't buy it back, i couldn't do anything with it, so it stayed there. It was worth about $20 so no big thing. BUT, after the fact, one of the guys said "oh you should have checked the offcuts first before you bought a whole piece of plywood", sure, i would have had i known to, but they knew what i needed and they could have suggested that beforehand. How was i to know they had offcuts. anyway, the wood itself was good quality.

Beats going to home depot and waiting on lines......... will def. return here
