Very unprofessional dealership. Unfortunately I am "That Guy" who decided to read all the negative reviews on this place and tried to work with them anyways hoping it was just not true. I spent about 5 or so hours trying to work out a very fair deal. Just as the sales associate and I thought we came to resolution, the Sales Manager decided he didn't want to certify the vehicle that we originally decided would be certified. The sales associate, John, was a nice guy and I felt like he was actually trying to work with me. A Mercedes dealership spent over 5 hours trying to work out a deal which came down to $500.00 and refused to work with me at all even after they backed out of a deal they had already made. What a waste of time! You will not get any type of professional attention or special deals at this dealership. I really expected much more from Mercedes Benz.

I recently bought GL350 from them and I was very pleased with the overall service. Keith DeYoung, and Sean McCormack gave me best deal on the new vehicle as well as on my trade in vehicle. They were very courteous and helpful through out the process. They didn't rush me to make decision at any point.
Al Reci, in finance department was also very helpful and great to work with.

I am very disappointed with this dealership. They are not good on their word, they lie. I am owed money and still waiting for it. Not sure that they will last long this way. Be Careful! Three people from the salesman, to his supervisor, to the general manage, all lied, making false promises. I expect that they will be investigated by Mercedes National and the NJ BBC. Turns out the general manager just left, he may have been caught in the storm that seems to be occurring at this shop of poor behavior. Let's see if the owner follows through on payment.

If I could give negative stars to this place, then I definitely would. My fiancé had at least 6 Mercedes cars before. When we were about to return our last lease and we're looking at a new one at this location last month, we were so turned off by them with the blatant lies and tricks.
First, they lie that we have to have a "special code" to return the lease. Then, they lie again that our credit is not good enough to lease a MB! We have an alert on our credit score so whoever checks it has to call me and credit agency directly to verify the information. Credit alert never went through and Equifax told me that NOBODY RAN MY CREDIT REPORT!!!!
When I called Mercedes Benz Financial Services to ask for a code, they were as surprised as we were. BECAUSE YOU DON'T NEED ANY CODE TO RETURN THE LEASE!!!
They just didn't want us there. I don't know if it was because we are not Caucasian or because I have an accent, or maybe because they didn't want to bother with helping us at all.
We were turned off by their attitude so much that we went straight to another dealer of another luxury brand, Lexus, (after 6 Mercedeses in the row for the last 15 years) and got another vehicle leased within 1.5 hours from Lexus of Route 10. And it was more expensive car with all options but somehow it cost us less both monthly and $0 (yes, zero dollars on down) payment than Mercedes Benz of Caldwell.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!
If they can take advantage out of you whether it's financing a vehicle or blow up the price on you, they will try to do it. This is why people hate car sales personnel and hate certain dealerships, because the whole experience if you don't fit a certain "profile" and don't agree to their terms and try to negotiate, and God forbid you use terms like "capital cost reduction", then they know they cannot bamboozle you, so they give you an attitude and make you wait.
That's why majority of their reviews are negative, and that is why I will never come back to them for anything.

This dealership is excellent in every way. The customer experience here is top tier and the professional service is simply outstanding. I have found that the service here exceeds that of the dealership where we originally purchased the car. Jon Polera and Franca Urbano-Marciano were friendly, courteous professionals who extended a warm welcome to customers and made sure that everything was taken care of properly. I give this dealership my highest recommendation
