Meadowlands View Hotel

The restraunt was closed as it was still under renovation. The room was clean and the staff were friendly but multiple ice machines were broken and the soda machine was out of order as well. I probably would stay again though as it was very convenient to get to NYC.

I enjoyed the stay with plenty of parking space, very clean, beds and everything on room made it perfect for a relaxed stay and best of all, area and property is very safe and secure. Staff is good but can improve by smiling more. Well worth $155/ night on Chrismas weekend. Family friendly.

The building is well maintained and the room looked nice enough upon first inspection - but the air conditioner spelled like urine. Staff members are not particularly helpful and the breakfast is terrible and overpriced.

The shuttle service to Manhattan drops you off and picks you up at an odd, out of the way location with no shelter in case of rain.

But it is cheap, and you could do a lot worse.

I have been staying at this hotel since 2005. I have found the staff very helpful and very polite. The rooms are always clean and the housekeepers always help get what we need. This is a wonderful family safe place to be. We live in Va. and we highly recommend this place to everyone. We are business folks so we travel a lot. When we have to come to NYC we love staying here. Thank you staff and owners for providing us with a wonderful safe hotel for us to stay at.

Pros: The place is relatively clean.
Beds are comfortable and firm.
Staff is fairly friendly.

Cons: Having clean towels put in our room was more common than a solar eclipse and the Wi-Fi is less trustworthy than the many Nigerian Princes I regularly donate to.

So if you want a safe haven away from all the New Jersey litter that has firm beds and internet running on a 128k modem made of styrofoam and orphans tears, this is the right place for you.
