Mat is a superb guitar instructor. His passion for the guitar is evident and it comes through with all his lessons. His lessons are structured to keep it fun while teaching you the fundamentals of guitar music theory. I have been working with him for several months and each lesson is fun and furthers my skills. I recommend him very highly and don't think you will find a better guitar educator.

Let me start this review by saying I was a 49yr old rhythmically challenged guy who had 2 things I always wanted to learn how to do before I turned 50... to play the guitar and learn how to surf.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Mat for a little over a year and can't say enough good things about my experience learning the guitar from Mat.
Mat is very good at blending the necessary skills required to play the guitar with the "fun stuff" that makes you want to play the guitar.
I highly recommend that if you want to learn how to play the guitar and have some fun doing it, definitely give Mat a call
