Massage Envy - Holmdel

They keep losing worthwhile therapists. The place is not very well managed and is not overly customer friendly. They'll drag their feet when you try to cancel, corner you into a 1,5 hr session when they sense you are desperate and in pain. And never once did they offer receipt when I paid in cash.

although both masseuses and cosmeticians are very professional, i would not recommend being "trapped" into that annual contract.
i fulfilled full year of membership in november, and had 5 unused sessions.
to close my membership i had to inquire twice, and was told i need to see "Cancellation manager" (which OF COURSE! was not available :), then come back in person to cancel it. annoying 5 min of sales pitching later, i was "free" and given 16th of december as my last day to use up my unused sessions. on the morning of 16th of December i received a call, telling me because my membership was cancellled i would need to reinstate my membership to enjoy my final (last) massage session. i politely declined, and am leaving this review as reflection on poor business practices.
Again, nothing bad to say about the massages themselves - they are meh, just like any other mass massage place.

I joined the massage club over 2 years ago as a treat to myself after quitting smoking and I have no regrets! SIMPLY THE BEST!
After trying out a few different therapists I have my favorites and when you make appointment ahead of time you will never have a problem getting in. The atmosphere is very relaxing as well. The ladies who work the front desk are polite and helpful. At first i felt weird belonging to a massage club but since I have been going for 2 years its not at all. I really love it and I am glad they are so close to where I live. I highly reccomend it to anyone who works out or just needs a break.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have been coming to Massage Envy Holmdel for a while and I always have the greatest experience. I was first drawn in by the $49 special for a 1 hour massage, and I have become a repeat customer because of it! They always have the appointment I am looking for and I always leave happy.
