Terrible, illegitimate business. I am currently pursuing legal action after approximately $3k of personal belongings were stolen from a guest. I booked the "Lucille" through Empire Cruises, which is related to Marco Polo ("Lucille" vessel is listed on the website for Marco Polo as well) for a private party. Personal belongings were noticed stolen before disembarking and only a wallet (which was rifled through and money stolen) was found in a trash. It was a small, intimate gathering of close friends and family (less than 25). Turns out the Captain invited friends on the boat, which were not part of my party. These "extras" and the Captain all drank alcohol in the pilothouse while on the cruise. Additionally, some of the staff was extremely helpful, but there were some really unpresentable, shady staff members. A "manager" that was assisting in resolving the issue turned out to be misrepresenting himself as someone who was unable to assist, but in actuality he was the owner of the boat. Not at all professional. Dangerous.

I wish there was an option for zero stars!
I booked through Groupon with some friends as we were in holiday in New York from London and we thought it would be a good way to start the trip... we were wrong! It was awful.
The food was horrendous, the drinks overpriced, the boat was filthy and it was far toooo long a trip...
And don't even get me started on the toilets.... before we had even left the dock one of the two female toilets was already blocked and the smell was horrendous! People were actually physically retching from the smell!
it was by far the worst part of my trip to new york and I would not recommend it to anyone.
By the time the boat got back into the dock there was a massive queue of disgruntled people waiting to get off all complaining that it was a waste of money.

Horrible in fact - but that was not an option in Quality. I booked my wedding reception with them and regret it!
I love being on the water so just about any cruise is enjoyable... but not this one! Or any cruise on the Jewel, Half-Moon, Cabana, Lucille and other Marco Polo Cruises. There service is horrible! Most of their staff were discourteous to my guests, their food service was very late, the boat Manager was very rude and dismissive. Some of my items went missing and when I call management to discuss my disatisfaction I am getting the run around. In fact, I have not heard from the owner as yet after several calls and emails in attempts to reach him.
This cruise was not worth the time or the money. I would not even advise you to go for free. Total waste of time.
Totally displeased.

Came here for a work team booze cruise adventure. Instead of a good time with drinks we stood outside for an hour until we could contact the company by phone to discover the cruise was cancelled. Poor customer service is all I can comment on since all I saw was the dock.

HORRIBLE COMPANY Unprofessional!!!! I am hosting an event and I had planned to do it with this company on a date that they gave me. ALL Of a sudden I call because I had everything ready to give in the deposit and the guy says " Oh ,Marco the owner gave u a wrong date that has been taken long time ago....." OMG Ralf is another member and he is soooo RUDEEE.
