Avoid this dealership at all costs. I have plenty of experience in leasing cars and negotiating with dealerships. I also work in sales for a living so I understand the grind. I came to an agreement with a salesman (Leif) and signed a contract as well as put down first month and fees. Over a stretch of 9 weeks I was given the run around that the car I agreed to was located and being delivered, when that didn't happen after 4 weeks, I was told it was being ordered directly from the factory and it would be 4-6 additional weeks. Then 2 weeks later, I was told that wasn't an option. Then after 9 weeks, I was finally told my Jeep had arrived. Went in to finalize and they completely changed the original deal due to a clerical error made by the salesman. Despite multiple text messages phone calls and emails over those 9 weeks confirming our deal terms. They tried to charge me significantly more than agreed price. I walked out and demanded a refund. They took me off the market for 9 weeks, all while holding my money. They then took 9 days to refund that money despite telling me it would be put through that day. I went to Bayside Jeep and signed the original deal I had agreed to in less than 20 minutes. Done and done. What's even worse is that they wouldn't release the car they brought in for me to the Bayside dealer, which is a common courtesy within the industry to locate cars and move cars from dealers to dealers when there is an interested buyer. Avoid at all costs. I recommend Rockaway, Bayside or Hudson for Jeeps as I have had pleasant experiences at each of them.

I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anybody not even my worst enemy, they are very unprofessional, rude and they do not know how to speak to customers. I worked with two different salespeople and both of them were really arrogant and not helpful at all. I asked them for information and they stated that they could not give me no information over the phone ( really come on its 2016 everything is done over the phone and online). They also promised to call me back with some information and I'm still waiting so I decided to call back today and another salesperson tells me that "because I worked with somebody else they can't help", I'm requesting another salesperson for a reason not because I just want to waste time. I guess they are too busy making a lot of money that they didn't want my business or maybe because I was a true car customer they were not making enough money on the deal so they decided to just brush me off, that's not how you treat a customer that is ready to buy a car and they shouldn't be affiliated with Trurcar if they are not going to honor the numbers and give us the customer the same treat me .. Horrible experience, stay away from this dealership

I recently bought a used 2011 WRX STI from the dealership. First off, i told them from the start the car i wanted to trade in was a used 2012 Mazda 3 with very high miles and i gave them an exact number. They said they would pay a very high price for the car cause it was very in demand. Upon arrival when i got there, they said they would pay a fraction of what another dealership would pay for it. Then ive been waiting since October for plates for my car that they said should get there soon... its has been 3 months ago since they said that. On top of that, the cars brakes and tires all need replacing as well as the battery. This is only what ive discovered so far. Also, the car didnt come with a spare key and trying to get one from there was somewhat of a hassle. Not nearly as frustrating as getting these plates.

I leased a 2015 Gc for a relative,on a thursday then go on a Sat to get same price for another gc for another relative, and is approved by Mike Bobson ( former hyndai salesman). Here it goes, on a monday, "bait and switch" all of a sudden credit is bad, typical cheap salesman pitch. The price shoots up etc. I could have been told this on a saturday, if it were true. So I explained to Mike Bobson, that the price was so
High, I might as well stick with lexus. He gets upset, and says lexus wont lease to me ( I am a current lexus owner) and screams my personal financial information( which he absolutely has no idea about) in front of everybody and reacted in such an unprofessional manner. He called to apologize, said he was "having a bad day" and lowered the price to the original price we agreed on. I didnt take it. All this coming from the general manager who is supposed to be the example, for the other salesmen. Good job, Manhattan Jeep, it is no suprise, there are many negative reviews here for the sales team, they learn from the top, (mike bobson) .
They ended up losing a sale of 2 cars that day. Im sure there are many more they are not even aware of.

I purchased a brand New 2015 Cherokee and traded in my vehicle to the dealership. They "forgot" to pay the remaining balance on my vehicle only to find out when I received a notice from the bank that the car payment was overdue and that there were now late fees. I had to call cooperate in order for the dealership to take care of this issue. My sales man talked down to me like I was a child and would not answer the phone and only text me. He was rude and spoke "slang" not english. I insisted he be a professional and drop the act. I have bought many cars in my days and by far the worst customer service experience I have ever experienced. P.S do not comment back on this post saying to call the store and speak to David because he ignored all of my calls just like the rest of the dealership did.
