Mandee

The store says they close at 9.. I got there at about 8:15 walked around the store for about 10 min picking out items.. When the woman who worked there told me the register would be closing in 9 mins... It was only about 8:30!! So i asked for a fitting room.. I was told they were closed for cleaning, mind you the dressing room lights were off. I questioned them as to why they would even have the store open if i couldnt even try anything on? I was given an attitude.. So i put down all the clothes i had just picked out by the register and went to leave. The cashier then proceeded to heckle me as i left the store, telling me to take my negative self somewhere else!! Really because I questioned why you would close a dressing room a half hour before the store closed?! Or why you would close registers 15 mins before the store closed?! I will never return to this Mandee again.

They had a $10 sale going on so I went in. Store was better organized than the Bergenfiel NJ location, but WORST fitting room experience( I'm an avid shopper). They allow few items in the dressing rooms and you have to come out each time to switch an item you tried on for another one. It gets worse, each door in the fitting room is locked so you have to wait for the lady at the register to finish with a customer to come open the door. A 10 min try-on took nearly an HOUR. Horrendous service and kinda rude staff. Like the clothes but never returning to this store.

Shopped at this store several times in the past 2-3years and had never had any issues. This past October, I entered the store and I was not greeted, had to find someone to walk me to the fitting room and then had to find someone to ring up my purchase, which I could of dealt with but the cashier did not acknowledge my presence at all, not even with a "thank you have a nice day".

I decided to return several of the items I purchased and all of the above happened again. With the exception of the cashier greeting me with "are you gonna find something else?", I said "no, I would like a refund." At which time she grabbed a store credit card and began processing the refund as a store credit. I kindly asked her to please refund my purchase to my credit card. Here is the kicker that made me leave a review, instead of informing me that they no longer provide refunds, she simply stared at me until I asked her if she understood my question. She then pointed to a washed out paper that was taped in between the 2 registers that stated in small print that as of July they would no longer issue refunds. Normally I do not mind having store credit, but after those two experiences, I have no idea what I am going to do with this credit because not only will I not shop there again, I will make sure I inform my family and friends, that Mandee is not what is used to be...

This store discriminates against job seekers that speak English! Boycot the Bergerline store!
