The horse and carriage punch bowl is fantastic if you have a group of four or so. Or maybe if you're just really thirsty...

Awesome find. Stopped here before dinner at il Buco for a quick drink and wish we had more time. Nice cocktail menu and food looked good even though we didn't try anything.

I really like this place for the drinks and atmosphere, however their bouncer/doorman is a complete ***hole. It is hard to imagine in this day and age of customer service, they haven't fixed this already, as I've read some other posts about bad customer service. I was at this bar with my friend getting a few drinks Saturday night (last weekend), as the clock hit 2 am...the bartender announced that the bar was closed, as we were finishing up our drinks, so asked the bartender for the check. At this point there were about 10-15 people still in the bar, but we were approached by the bouncer who gave us a rude awakening about the place being closed. We told him that we understood and were just closing out the tab, however literally 2 mins later he comes around again to remind us that we needed to get out. I wondered, as I looked around, why we were being singled out when others were still around and enjoying their drinks. Approaching the subject with the bouncer made him even more obnoxious, he mentioned that people at the bar were some of the employees and the group of girls (about 5/6 girls) on the couch were "DJ's friends". So if i get this straight, customers who're actually paying for their drinks are discriminated against, while the DJ's groupies are free to chill at the back...no questions asked. If the management of Madame Geneva is reading this, I request you to correct this appalling behavior, as knowingly/unknowingly your staff is turning a lot of people off ( or ON, depending if you're the DJ's groupie friend or not ). Slightly ridiculous.

Worth a 20 minute subway ride.
Perfect little spot to kick off the night. I like going right after work when it's not too crowded. The drinks are expertly crafted and the small plates are just as awesome. There are a lot of good places in the area, and this is definitely one of them. If you're feeling thirsty definitely stop by. Try the Far Eastern Gimlet and their Sambal deviled eggs.

Great place for intimate group gatherings. Try to snag one of their right-hand side booths across the bar and enjoy some of their expertly-shaken cocktails (which are also sufficiently deadly). The duck buns were tasty, although I wished there was a bit more duck and a little less bun. Nonetheless, a great atmosphere to drink and grab some snacks. Will be back for more!
