I like the place and the food is always tasty, however both times I ate here I was sick afterwards... Maybe something they cook with doesn't agree with me, but it's a shame as I've always enjoyed the meals I had. Nice little secluded seating area outside for summer time drinks too.

Well-crafted dining experience. Sat right up at the grill. Little bit warm so be prepared up there. Québécois Proprietor very social and was a delight. Call ahead because the entrance is a little bit tricky.

Came early on a Cold a day with snow falling outside. Ordered two of the house cocktails- the M Wells Manhattan and the Maple Sideboob. The Sideboob won out with a smooth Mix of sweet & Sour. However, for a Kentucky boy, the Manhattan was adequate but nothing to write house about.
On to food! Started really strong with Onion and Bone Marrow soup, which was amazing. Then we added a "straight from Montreal" poutine to the mix and the cold weather was all but forgotten. Tried a jar of three steamed clams in vinegar. Very nice if a bit subtle taste for the other powerhouses on our table. Entrees were a tasty huge braised short rib and a petite filet that was medium rare perfection( well seasoned without being overpowering.
We ordered a side of excellently fried Brussel sprouts to keep the meat company.
Our only misstep was dessert - the sundae, It was unremarkable- we felt ike we could have put together a similar result at home. Still can't figure how we passed over such intriguing options like Maple Pie, baled Alaska and a Chocolate crusted coconut pie. Oh well, next time, because there will definitely be a next time!

The steaks are heavenly. The service is very good, too. But be ready to play 70-100 per person.

Not a great deal for the price. Half the food ordered seemed as if they were exerimenting. The wedge salad and steak were good. Drinks not bad. Cheesey potaoes, rye berries, and rabbit were lousy
