DO NOT TRUST THEM!  My wife and I bid on an apartment only to be told by Maureen that someone else later signed a contract with a "non-compete clause", keeping us from negotiating.  After the sale to that person went through, I found out the seller was not even aware of this clause.  This means that Maureen either made it up or kept it hidden from the seller.  Either way, we were unfairly kept from trying to buy the home and the seller was kept from making an informed decision on who he should try to sell to.  I reached out to Maureen to discuss the matter with her.  She acknowledged receipt of my email but did not get back to me even after following up with her.  Her refusal to speak to me about this tells me what I need to know.
