I WISH I WOULD'VE HEARD ABOUT THIS COMPANY BEFORE!!!!
I've been fighting a losing battle with clothes moths for a year now. In desperation I decided to move and have one last inspection to ensure this wouldn't happen to me again. From the minute I called, I spoke with Hunter and he was so kind, so patient and so sympathetic with the trauma I had been dealing with. I wasn't even a customer of this company and yet Hunter suggested I email a few pictures of my damage. I did, and within MINUTES, field inspector Kevin Carrillo responded with great detail to ALL of my questions.

Kevin came to my house today and the minute he stepped in he got to work. I couldn't believe it! He was on his hands and knees crawling in tight spaces with his flashlight and he did a THOROUGH and COMPLETE inspection of my apartment. I have had three different exterminators come to my home and NONE of them were on their hands and knees moving objects around and trying to look deep into the cracks and crevices of my apartment the way Kevin did. In all honesty, I got the impression that Kevin enjoys his job because I've never seen someone be so attentive to detail with such enthusiasm the way Kevin was.

He was also extremely thorough in answering ALL of my questions (I had another list of questions prepared). He was so insightful and he gave me so much detail about clothing moths and carpet beetles. I've been doing research on both pests and he not only confirmed what I read in books but he even taught me a few things I didn't know like the history of carpet beetles and how they got their name "carpet beetles". These employees have shown me that there ARE exterminating companies out there that actually have knowledgeable and competent people who clearly understand the make up, behavior, lifestyle and reproducing habits of pests. After meeting Kevin, I also learned that there are still good people out there who genuinely care about helping people. If I had heard about this company sooner and had Kevin come to my home, I'm sure I wouldn't have to be moving because he found a ton of hiding places for insects. Places that were never shown to me by any of the other "professionals".In the end Kevin left me his card and said he would be happy to help educate me should I need his help in the future.

Seriously, who does that? Let's be honest, it's not every day you meet people that go out their way to extend their help to you without wanting something in return. Usually, it's the people that genuinely enjoy what they do that don't mind helping people because to them, they enjoy sharing their wisdom and they enjoy seeing others grow in knowledge. That's the impression that Kevin left me. His immediate responses to ALL of my emails and his kind nature in answering my questions with detail have shown me that when it comes to dealing with pests, MME is the place to call. This company is being represented in an extremely professional yet humane and compassionate manner. When people call extermination companies they are in so much distress and all they want is someone to understand their pain and be willing to help them solve the problems in their home life. These employees clearly understand that and they clearly WANT to help lessen the customer's anxiety and pain.

This is a company that prides itself on making people's lives easier by hiring people who actually care about their jobs and aren't just there to collect a paycheck.
Hunter and especially Kevin have restored my faith in extermination companies and I don't usually write reviews unless I'm blown away but I needed to share my experience with M&M Environmental because I think it's critical that more people know about this company and of their employees. It would save people a lot of heartache.

I continue to have fantastic experiences with M&M. The staff is outstanding and their customer service is unparalleled. I have worked with multiple team members and have always received the same excellent treatment. I've used them for bed bug inspection, purchasing of extermination products (eg ZappBug) and also have frequently used their bug id email service. They gave me incredible peace of mind this summer when I discovered bugs in a hotel bed by reviewing photos within 10 minutes and confirmed what they were (fortunately not beg begs!), thus preventing me from panicking and allowing me to enjoy my vacation. At 11:30 tonight (on a Friday, no less) I emailed about how to eliminate bugs I had just found (not expecting a response until tomorrow or even Monday) and had responses from two team members in less than 30 minutes. I cannot recommend them enough. Having suffered through the trauma of a bed bug infestation a few years back, I am so appreciative of their kind, thoughtful, patient and thorough responses to any questions I have. I cannot recommend them enough. If you ever have pest control problems in NYC they are definitely the people to call. Thank you M&M Team, you are the BEST!!!

Wow where do I start! I discovered bedbugs in my homebound elderly moms apartment one night around 9pm. I was frantic and besides myself thinking now what. I started searching exterminators and figured who is possibly going to call me at this time and deal with me. I called 3 companies and needless to say Ami from M&M called me in 15 minutes and helped calm me down and guide me through how to get through the night. They immediately scheduled a canine inspection for the next day. Stanley showed up with his cute pup and confirmed my mom had bedbugs on moms recliner, phone jack, and home aids bed. It was an assumption at the time but we were pretty sure the home Attendent had brought them into the house. We were in the process of moving mom to a new apt across the street so it was recommended we fumigate everything on a truck and bring everything to the new home fresh and bed bug free. That's exactly what we did. Had new apartment inspected by M&M and were clear. We did everything on point threw out bed, got a new one, washed everything, purchased the zapbug for home Attendent to use. Spent lots of money to do it right only for the home Attendent to BRING THEM BACK!!! I called M&M in tears!!!! They were incredible.... They immediately sent someone back for anothe canine inspection Georgie with Speckles and confirmed they were back. They discounted the charge. Then they provided a complimentary inspection at the home attendants home and confirmed she had them but neglected to tell us knowing all the money we spent with the fumigation company "moving right along" thousands of $'s. Moving right along was not willing to help in any way shape or form given these circumstances. M&M helped me get through it all again. Keep in mind there was nothing in it for M &M Other Than compassion. M&M helped me get 2 pieces of furniture refumigated at a minimal charge. They also provided free freezing treatment in the home and I only paid a very small amount, $200. Meanwhile that service costs $1,000 plus.

In summary, INCREDIBLE professional, COMPASSIONATE people and company! I want to thank the entire team at M & M, -Ami, Tim, Stanley, Anthony, Georgie for everything you did for me and my mom. Honestly don't bother researching other companies. M&M IS TRUTHFUL, HONEST, COMPASSIONATE and only look to remedy the situation. I can actually say I owe them!!!!

Awesome company. Needed a bedbug inspection for my girlfriend's apartment in Brooklyn after we learned that someone in the building has bedbug so we called M&M. Excellent customer service and the bedbug inspector and his dog was very professional. Fortunately, my girlfriend does NOT have bedbugs and the inspection gave us a peace of mind! Thank you M&M.

This company is FANTASTIC. We had a bed bug infestation and our landlord refused to properly treat the apartment. They did only a visual inspection and spot treatment. We were absolutely without confidence and called M&M. They came in with a canine and did a proper inspection of the premises. When the dog located something in the walls they called me over to be present when it opened and the paint cracked so that I could see the finding for myself...bedbugs.

The landlord still only offered to do another perfunctory treatment and M&M came back and did a second inspection when we were bitten in another room and again found bed bugs.

Thanks to them we were able to break our lease and move out of the apartment because our landlord refused to treat the apartment properly or accept the canine inspection!!

The inspectors were super polite and friendly. The company was extremely professional and helpful in explaining the process and giving us alternatives on how best to treat all of our belongings and to kill the infestation.

If you are experiencing an infestation you know that you are robbed of peace of mind and comfortable sleep. After having our belongings moved and fumigated we have since been able to sleep comfortably and rest easy again.

I highly recommend M&M and I rarely do internet recommendations!
