Long Island Marriott

hotel is great . my house burnt down I'm staying for 3 months . I stayed for one week .food is expensive but great. room service somewhat fast but wonderful .
pool irritated my skin

Initially I was pleased with the amenities however there were bed bugs!!! Its a damn shame that for such an expensive and supposedly exquisite hotel there is such a problem. I'm beyond horrified!!! STAY AWAY PEOPLE!!! Room 1043 to be exact. This place needs to be inspected.

A great hotel. A bit isolated though. But still beautiful on the inside, and the rooms are nice and quite big. Nice and clean bathroom as well. Great view of the coliseum from our room too. Would very highly recommend.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful plus it's a short cab ride to the local railway station and only 40 minutes to Manhattan.
Couldn't ask for better

I was an out of town guest looking forward to experiencing the luxury of New York City, but upon arriving at this hotel I had to wait 4 hours until a room was available. I was given no explanation as to why I had to wait so long. So I called corporate and expressed what happened, they apologized but said they couldn't do anything. There were other guests, waiting even longer than we were, with no explanation but the hotel gave them notice to allow them to come in early. I was told 3 different check in times but to no avail I was brushed off nonchalantly as if I was no priority. I will NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN! This was a horrible experience, they offered no apologies, compensation, no explanation, to why an out of town guest along with almost 6 other guests had to wait as long as we did after a long flight. Even though we were told that the rooms would be available.
