I come to visit family in long beach fairly often and I was so glad to find this gym. Marvin and his students were extremely welcoming. Having a black belt instructor like Marvin is great for any gym. Highly recommend this place!

I came out to long beach to visit my family and I was looking for a place to to drop in and train and i found that in Long beach jiu jitsu. The mat space is clean, the students are all welcoming, and professor Lee is awesome (a legitimate black belt who is always looking to expand his knowledge). Would highly recommend this spot to anyone who is visiting or looking to start training.

Marvin creates a fun and safe environment for his students to train free of ego. I find his teaching to be the best I ever experienced and he is very detailed in his explanation of techniques. His skills and expertise are worth traveling for even if your out of the area. I have been studying BJJ for 4 years and trained with quite a few instructors. No one is better than this guy! HIGHLY recommended!
