A disaster of a restaurant! Hanger steak is tough, chicken tidbits had no flavor, Caesar salad had way touch overly creamy dressing, & fish tacos were just thrown on top of burrito shells ....definitely go somewhere else.

torn in my comments. the soup was delicious. the small salads were very small. most upsettig was that i cant rate the salmon that i ordered it. they never made it.

Let me sum it up in one word: H O R R I B L E. When I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, there was a big note on the door: Restaurant closed for private party but you could sit in the outside dining area. So, my friend and I sat in the outside dining area. It was very warm out and sunny, we sat at a table under an umbrella. We sat there for more than 20 minutes, when out of the restaurant came an extremely rude, obnoxious woman (I assume she is the hostess), who told us, "we are not seating people in this area. You will have to wait to be seated in the sun." It did not make a good impression upon us. Plus if they were that rude, Lolas Kitchen must be extremely busy and definitely does not need our business. I would never return here. Nor would I recommend it to anyone. Go a few blocks west or east, there are tons of very nice restaurants with friendly staff.

I would not recommend this to anyone. My wife and i went there for brunch. She ordered the steak and eggs (steak done medium) and i ordered the steak tidbits done medium well. Both came our RAW if you like your steak black & blue then you will be fine. The waitress was very accommodating in taking my back to have it redone. I few minutes later she brought me back a plate that had melted cheese "glued" to the plate as more than likely they suck it in a microwave for a few seconds. When I talked to Bill (a manger) and asked him if he would server a dish like this to anyone... He answer was "would you like something else?" On Monday i called and asked for either Marco or Rich (the owners) neither was in - as asked Angelina to have one of call me back she said fine, but did not bother to asked for my phone number. Later that day i spoke to the other manager who guaranteed me that i would get a call back form one of the owners... I guess they they called you because that sure have not called me back - 3 days later!!! IF THE MANAGERS AND OWNERS DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS I WOULD WONDER WHY ANYONE WOULD WANT TO GO TO A PLACE LIKE THIS? THERE A MANY GREAT PLACES TO EAT IN LONG BEACH

Bad food. Ordered a New York Strip and they brought me out skirt steak. Waitress couldn't seemed to be bothered coming near our table. Drinks showed up at the end of dinner and we never did get water. Even asking three times. AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS!
