Little Prince Daycare

Absolutely Wonderful, academically enriching programs and a developmentally appropriate curriculum makes this place a true gem in the neighborhood. As a preschool teacher myself, i toured many places and this by far surpasses other daycare establishments. The director and the teachers are warm, caring, and responsive. My daughter started there when she was just three months. She has ever since shown a dramatic change in her movements, speech, and awareness to her environment. The children are exposed to what the older children do during circle time, such as music, arts and crafts, story time,etc. what a better way to open up my baby's connections at such a prime age. I Highly recommend this place. Upon entering this place it is warm, the space is just right, children's art work hand from the walls and the ratio is right. ( and FYI the teachers speak more than one language).

We had to remove our kids from this facility. The main issue was with the director and lack of commitments to the kids in the past year. We had a mutual agreement to terminate the contract and get deposit back and we had her confirm that through email. The director denied that and refused to pay us back. We decided to have legal recourse. Stay away from this place!

Big issues we had are kids frequent injuries. The daycare is small and no separation between infant and toddler section. The quality of care went down drastically over the years as they added more kids.Too much TV exposure in the daycare too, there are Cartoons we never watch at home and I was surprised that my 2 and my 3 year old knew the name of the characters.
It's also the most expensive one in the neighborhood which would have been fine if the children were well stimulated and motivated.
I used to recommend this facility, I am not doing this anymore.

This Daycare is amazing. As a new mom I was worried about putting my daughter in daycare and upset that I had to return to work. I had checked out a few places that didn't feel right, and then one day I walked by Little Prince. Once my husband and I met with Tanja I knew it was the right place for our family. She is an extraordinary daycare provider! The daycare is bright and clean with an outdoor space and the staff is great. Two lovely girls, Elvira and Dulce, worked there the entire 10 months I had my daughter enrolled there and I appreciated that consistency for my child. The only reason she is no longer attending is because we moved...and though we were happy to get out of Brooklyn and into a home with more space, we were truly sad to have to take our little girl out of this daycare. Tanja is very professional and trustworthy and she is also a mother so you know she can relate to you on that level. She is down to earth and very kind, smart and sweet. I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of Little Prince each day and I am sure I will never find another place as homey and warm as this daycare. They also serve delicious food. It was clear that they really loved my daughter which made the transition back to work much easier for me. This place is great!!

Wonderful and Supportive Day Care!!! My son has definitely enhanced his social skills and is advancing in his ABCs and 123s. They also have professional music teachers and child yoga instructors to enhance the curriculum. AND THEY HAVE FOOD!!! My child never eats at home but loves the home made food at the daycare!! One of the best choices I have made for my child.
