Little Lions was a delightful haven in New York City's SoHo district. Unlike the overcrowded bars and overpriced boutiques that call the neighborhood home, this was a peaceable kingdom, small but charming, clean, airy, and delightfully furnished, where animal lovers could spend time with an assortment of adoptable cats. The tea, coffee, and pastries in the cafe section were delicious, and the "cat wranglers" were friendly and helpful. The cats were delightful.
It is with great disappointment that I've learned the cafe will be closing, due in large part to the truly exorbitant rent the landlord has seen fit to insist upon. It's a shame that this individual has neither a sense of compassion nor a sense of ethics.

Food and drinks were just fine, but the CATS! My wife and I had a great half hour that simply flew by. The cats were adorable, playful, and friendly. The staff were helpful both from understanding the temperament of each of the cats as well as about their business and adoption. There should be more places like this!

It's actually two units, so don't dismay when you don't see cats as you first enter! The "front" (left) cafe staff are great and also guard their beautiful merch selection. The "back" (right) "lord of the kitties" staff member I interacted with was also very pleasant and engaging, and stayed so during my (admittedly long) visit. Note the totally sweet "double decker" castle-shaped cat bed which the residents actually occupy!

I came here after hearing such good reviews. My friends and I wanted to pet the cats for 30 minutes and check out the cafe. It's $6 for 30 minutes and $11 for an hour. The place is relatively clean the decor is pretty cute compared to the other cat cafes in NYC. There were a lot of cats including kittens. There were also toys that you can play with the cats. I appreciated the hand sanitizer everywhere. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information about the cats or adopting them. The cafe itself is separate and cute as well. They have baked goods from Balthazar and cat shaped treats. I would come back if I'm ever in the area.

I absolutely loved this place. Majority of the cats today were new so they were a little shy and hid under the couches, but the brave ones who came out were a pleasure to be around. Hopefully you can see the others once they warm up to the place. Luigi, Rosie, and Molly were awesome! The ladies working there were amazing. They let me stay in the cafe section up until just about closing time, can't remember what time I got in, definitely after 5 so you're not thinking I was the all day, lol. I spent an hour with the cats then sat in the cafe. You must go and visit, you never know you may leave with a new friend!
