Nancy Sez...After sitting for 15 minutes, we reminded the server that we had ordered salads, but we still can't quite figure out what was in that dressing. We also asked if they had any bread, and the server answered, "yeah". I then said "can we have some"? The age of the bread was hidden by slight warming, but not enough to melt the frozen butter. We ordered the garlic mashed potatoes, more garlic than mash. Although the salmon and the chicken were fairly tasty, the plantains were luke warm, not nearly as hot as the bland red beans. So if you can't get into Manhattan for real Cuban food, you may consider cooking it at home. We would like to see them stay in business, but they might consider a push in the service, and adding some spice to the food. It's always a treat to have good Spanish food, when done right!

Even though I have not sat in Liitle Cuba to eat a meal, I have done take out on several occassions. The gentleman at the counter is friendly and professional. He remembers your name. The prices are right. Food execellent-watch out Cuban Pete'sin Montclair. Every other Friday night is dancing. Only down fall they are only open at 5 p.m. The location is hiden, but if you want some great food at the right price and a smile--try out Little Cuba. You will not be disappointed. Try the coconut shrimp:-)
