Li Greci's Staaten

My wife and I had been planning our wedding for quite some time. She being in the US, while I was abroad, we did look at a number of possible places to hold the event. Eventually, in August 2014 we settled on the Li Greci Staaten a the place we felt most comfortable. Li Greci Staaten stood out and boy, it did live up to and exceeded our expectations.

With our initial contact person being none other than Toney, he was rather helpful and courteous throughout our numerous visits to work out the details of the event.

When our big day finally arrived, we were granted access to four rooms; one for the ceremony, another for the cocktail, the bridal dressing room and the spacious reception hall. The cocktail room was filled with finger licking food and drink, whereby a few guests assumed that this is the location where the reception would have been held.

Special mention goes out to Beckim and Candy (both highly professional at what they do) they were amazing and knowledgeable and we were glad that they were on board to keep things on track with an incredible amount of energy and directing.

We cannot leave out Islam, very simple individual, easy to work with and totally professional. Lenny, one of the three bartenders attached to us, provide a fantastic service.

A great Facility! We will recommend The Staaten as an ideal place for wedding events.

Thanks to Jack and all the other crew, on behalf of all the family and friends who still continue to contact us indicating how wonderful the evening was and from those who said they never saw so much food at a wedding. (food that majority of the guests were allowed to carry home, something not allowed at most weddings).

The food is always good along with top notch service. Gary and Jack have always treated us well. Great cocktail hour, great prime rib and the servers and bartenders always go the extra mile. Plenty of food. No complaints. Consistently good.

Recently I chose the Staaten to hold a special family party. During the initial visit Jack, the owner, brought us into his office to discuss the different options for the party. He explained that we could have a sit down type of meal or a buffet meal. Both options were approximately the same price per person. We opted for the buffet style party and were able to pick several different selections from the menu. The buffet provided a variety of food for all different tastes. Our guests, as were we, were pleased with the quality and taste of the food. The wait staff that worked the party were very attentive and accommodated all of our special requests. The decor is a little out dated, but the facility was clean in all areas.
