Language Studies International - LSI New York

LSI NY was really amazing and positive for my life, I made good friends from differents countries, I learned and enjoyed so much, thank its friendly methodology to teach and also by the different activities, where you can have interaction with others students, and at the same time know and explore the city. I feel thankful to have had that unique and nice experience.

LSI of NYC is a great school to learn English, I have been studying here for 2 months and I've felt really well studying here. I would recommend it to every person who wants to spend a period of time in NY and wants to improve his English.

I’ve spent the first hours of New Year´s morning reflecting on the last twelve months, and one of my personal highlights was definitely my trip to New York City. Looking back on 6 ½ exciting weeks. I was keen to improve my English and took part in an intensive course at Language Studies International (LSI) New York in TriBeCa. I felt comfortable there from day one. The staff was welcoming, supportive and professional. The arrival of the new students and the grading test was well-organized. The second day my advanced course started, and I became part of a class full of wonderful people from all over the world. I appreciated the opportunity to learn about their different cultures. Travelling alone, it was great that I could meet my classmates for dinner, drinks, shopping, art exhibitions, open-air cinema, a Broadway musical or just inspiring chats. I made new friends and we are still in contact. Michael, our class teacher, motivated us with his lively and dynamic teaching approach. He made learning fun and inspiring. We talked about interesting and current topics, reviewed grammar and gave presentations. Michael created a fun and easy-going atmosphere and encouraged everyone to participate, but also expected a certain level of motivation and cooperation. Furthermore, I had private lessons with Lucy to work on my conversation skills and business communication. She is a cordial and empathic teacher, who corrected my mistakes in a very supportive way. The one-on-one lessons with her were fun and very effective. She is also the Assistant Director of LSI New York and will help you if you have questions or worries. For me LSI New York was a great choice. I definitely brushed up my English and can highly recommend this school to you.

Learning English in this school was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Teachers make everything to make lessons as attractive as it is possible, so that you don't ever feel yourself exhausted. By the end of my course I achieved both a rapid improvement in my English and a lot of new friends from around the world too. Totally recommended to everyone looking for a good English school in New York.

I liked the experience at LSI. I gained so many good friends as I'm learning English. The activities were nice and I think this is the most important thing that makes LSI different than the other language schools. I also enjoyed my time there because all the staff and teachers were very understanding, friendly, and helpful. I would like to come back for next time if I have time.
