Highly recommend the backyard next to the giant tree. When the weather is perfect so are the tapas,

Brought here my family with two kids to celebrate Valentines and to give ides to my husband on Spanish food. Best time for us was lunch time to avoid croud and not to be nervous. Plus I read Zagat that name la Vara on of the best.
On arrival we were given menu that contained famose Spanish dishes. Then we found out that it was wrong menu and lunch did not contain much of "spanish", so we had to eat baked potatoes, hamburger (would say this is international, not Spanish).
My last hope was for famose churros which I were two days taking about to my kid. But we were told they run out of all sweets (just one left, but not churros). And this is not the end of the day yet! They shall preview that on Valentines they shall order more!
So we were very much dissupointed and my family did not have taste of "spanish".
Being lot in Europe and knowing about Michelin star restaurants I could never belive it had one before.Just a regular place with nice small expensive dishes.

This is pretty much the most expensive Tapas you can find, and it is totally worth it. Everything we ate was phenomenal. Flavor combinations that I could not have imagined. Phenomenal drinks. Sherry menu. The wait staff was super friendly, quick, and responsive.
