We grow our own San Marzano tomatoes and make puree from them, and that's still the best I've had in terms of tomato. La Valle tomato puree is a very close second to that. It has that distinct, highly flavorful San Marzano tomato taste and if you don't grow your own or have used up your supply this is what I'd strongly recommend. The price was also very reasonable for what you get and a good price overall.
